Hello to All,
Can anyone out there help me with a couple of things. About 10/12
months ago I purchased a Pseudacanthicus Leopardus [common name Leopard
Pekoltia] and a Hypancistrus Zebra [common name Zebra Pekoltia] both
members I believe of the Loricariid family of catfish, both were about 1
1/2 inches long when purchased, but now the Leopard is about 5/6 inches
and the Zebra about 2 inches long, what I need to know is
1) How big does the Leopard Pekoltia get
2) How big does/does'nt the Zebra get
3) Could it be that the Zebra does'nt feed very well?
Both of these fish are fed on pellets and algae wafers as well as
live food [Daphnia, Blood worm, Brine shrimp] both are housed in the
same tank [approx 40 imperial gallons] with plenty of rockwork and
Bogwood to hide in by day, any thoughts or suggestions on the above
would be welcome,
thanks in anticipation,
