The red on my monitor isn't working, but I would say it is an Eastern
Rosella. A wild pair nest in a treefern stump outside my bedroom window and
have raised chicks two years running.
Rosellas are best kept as aviary birds, preferably in pairs. They have quite
a musical call. They are not usually kept as pet cagebirds.
They are Australian birds, but some are here in New Zealand.
Look them up on Google. Google images show pictures of them.
