 James P. Hogan is one of my favorite authors.  I find his "Thrice Upon a
 Time" one of the most believable stories involving contact through time I
 have read.  I also enjoyed his "Giants" series and
"Realtime Interrupt".

 He has a web site where he keeps track of many issues as well as the books
