It's visible with binoculars at 7th magnitude; use the finder chart in the May SKY & TELESCOPE, page 56. ___--------------------------------------------------------------------- SKY AT A GLANCE Jupiter and Saturn are up in the evening. The waxing crescent Moon shines in the west at dusk. Comet Tempel 1 is in evening view with telescopes at about 10th magnitude. Dim Uranus passes 1.1 degrees from Mars on the morning of May 14th.
