I am currently experimenting with this, using Max/2 3.01 and Xenia/2 - and
the PPP program supplied with OS/2.
The initial problem I encountered was that PPP can /not/ accept a hot handle!
:-< Therefore the mailer must open the port in a shared mode; Xenia/2 1.98
does not do that, hence I couldn't make it work.
But now I am about to try with a newer version that allegedly should be able
to share the port - and it should work then. Some people have made it work
with Binkley, I think; but you need a special version of its comm.dll AFAIR
in order for it to share the port.
