The early games, like all of our CGA games, and our text based games, plus
Dark
Ages have poor or NO speed adpaptiveness. That means that they run too
quickly
to be playable, or they don't run at all, because they can't deal with the
fast
CPU's. This won't affect the vast bulk of our games, but our early ones have
problems.
So yes, you do need to slow down your machine. If you write me at
help@apogee1.com, I can send you a short (about 10k) zip archive called
moslo12.zip, which is a program called Mo'Slo which does the job nicely.
