No, PB comm code will not do XON/XOFF automatically for you. At least
that has never been an observed behavior...

Yes, if you set CS# it will do hardware handshaking. I tend to set it
really high, like 20000, as if you don't when you are sending to slower
modems like 2400 baud you will get CTS timeouts with a 14.4k or 28.8k
modem. You don't need to use DSR for the modem, but if you are writing
your own code between machines then you can use it. Hardware
handshaking is the preferred method over software anyways, at least in
my mind. Eric
