| subject: | Vista broke bluetooth headsets? |
From: "Rich Gauszka" on a side note: still can't use the TechNet forums while signed on to my hotmail account as I'm still banned for arguing in the wga forum last year. I did contact the MSDN concierge about it a while back but the concierge couldn't find any reason and just suggested that I set up a new hotmail account which I'm not going to do http://forums.microsoft.com/technet/ShowPost.aspx?postid=960824&siteid=17 Thank you for your response. Based on your reply, it seems that Microsoft Bluetooth stack has certain issues on Windows Vista. Please correct me if I am wrong. James, I would be more than happy to provide you with the drivers for your Mobile Bluetooth Headset but there are no drivers available for that headset. The headset works natively on the Microsoft Bluetooth stack and it appears on your last email that you receive the message prompting you to update the headset drivers but the headset does connect and work. I would suggest that at the moment until Microsoft has a work around on this issue, I would suggest that you ignore the message which you receive. I apologize for any inconvenience caused in regards to Microsoft. Please do let me know should you require additional information or assistance in regards to this issue as I would be more than happy to assist you further. Thank you for choosing Logitech. --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 5030/786 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
