I have pneumonia and am only able to get up long enough to read the posts 
here and answer my e-mail.  sweat pours down my back and I'm ice cold but I 
don't give up til I've read every post and save the special ones.  Is this 
another addiction?  You know it.  Doc says I am not in good shape and must be 
careful as I'm also diabetic.  I told him if alcoholism in its most active 
form couldn't kill me, pneumonia stands little chance. besides, I have to 
live long enough to see a couple of people on-line quit smoking and to find 
out how a couple of operations turned out.  Joking aside, what would sick 
people do without on-line meetings?  I'm contagious - no visitors and my 
throat is too sore to talk on the phone! (fate worse than death) but I can 
get on-line and read some ES&H in a few minutes.  Thanks a heap guys.  I may 
be lurking for a while but I'll be here.   Joan Rea , alcoholic.
