Was it easy to get the chips into the CoCo?

Hmmm, I'm not familiar with a KAM. Just what is this?

Sounds like quite the setup. It's been awhile since I really
did much poking around with the CoCo, that's one of the reasons
I want to get a CoCoII, so I could get a bit motivated.

Those magazines are really quite good, loads of things you can do
that most folks, some of whom owned CoCos themselves, never realized
you could do with these mighty little machines.
I have made a hardcopy of you response & I will take a gander
at my Rainbows & let you now which issue. Do you happen to know
if they still print those magazines? Haven't seen one in years
ever since they went to the newsprint format.

Hey, that's half the fun though, isn't it? Don't you find that
most folks into scanning, even though, like you & me, they don't
have HAM rigs, like to play around with electronic projects & such?
I sure do even if I have so little time to do so.
KL> Looking foreward to hearing about your CoCo experiences & radio.

I'm not terribly sure what's out there to begin with but I envision
being able to pick up TTY, packet radio, satellite maps x-missions,
CW & anything related to weather & coordinate translation. I know
that's all saying a mouthful, but I would like to give much of it a
try.
KK> May I also make a suggestion because this is a scanner based echo, and
KK> we've only touched on scanning in the posts.
Yes, I appreciate the indulgence of the users & the moderator.
KK> There is a COCO echo and

KK> RIBBS) You may want to check into them. I carry all 3 here.
Well that's very much appreciated indeed, thank-you kindly! :)
I will check out these conferences & do some checking around on the
WWW too for CoCo things.
Could you please foreward (via netmail please) the details of the
conferences, hubs, etc., so that I may supply this info to my SysOp?
Thanks again - you've given me some more hope that I can actually
resurrect my CoCo(s) & keep them running on a constant basis so that
I may enjoy even more scanning & SWLing to my heart's desire. I
work alone at home & it get's a little lonely only listening to local
AM radio at times, scanning has always had a really "live" feel to it
in my opinion. I get tired of listening to the cops & local airports
after awhile & would like to keep the CoCo humming along while I
toil away.
Cheers,

... Well, it beeped and said "Countdown initiated." Is that bad?
