I have been using the service since its inseption in 1994 (I think)
and enjoy it very much. I especially appreciate the ability to
choose what I want to listen to and the manner in which to do it.

I manage the Radio Reading Program at the IDAHO COMMISSION F/T BLIND
and worked for two years when I first started to secure funding for a
dial in news system. When the Newsline(r) concept became available,
I immediately scrapped plans for a system requiring volunteers to
read the material onto a computer hard disk and moved our program in
this new direction. It took some additional time to get the
mechanics done to do this, but I feel that the decision is the best
one and the most cost effective. I use the Newsline(r)every day and
was most impressed when I was able to secure a peice of information
that I knew was in the newspaper in a matter of 5 minutes without
assistance from others in any way. This was probably as fast or
faster than someone could find this using eyesight.
Please if possible, send a copy of the completed article when
available.
