| subject: | Squish enhancement |
JD> Hi Bob, JD> Now that you know what I ran into, is there any hope JD> of some sort of enhancement, whereby Squish -when JD> handling netmail with the ATT bit and the In-Transit JD> bit set - can somehow decide if it needs to reduce a JD> fully qualifed path down to just a filename.ext ? ... Joe: Thanks for documenting the issue. We'll have to put this on the back burner till we get a number of other issues resolved. The basics of squish are now running under Linux. We still need some major cleanup of other Maximus source code, and get SqaFix (for areafix capability) and a tick type processor working. If you can figure out what needs to change in the code, we could probably integrate it while we work on other things. There probably needs to be a config variable added so that Maximus and Squish can work together when the sysop wants to send out a file attachment. I've normally usesd just the fully qualified file name, but I haven't tried to forward files -- only send them direct to another system..... An yes, normally I end up using Bink or Squish to send the file direct with out a netmail attached..... Hmmmm..... Thanks for the info and notes.
