I'm hoping to be able to make some money from
orders from the web page that is being set up
for me about the service I offer (and have been
doing for friends for the past 2 years) of mailing
out their cards for them so they never forget an
occasion. I really need the money right now.
The only way that I can buy stamping supplies is to
sell what I make. Otherwise I can't. I also need
the money to supplement my income and help pay for
RX's. It's hard.
I've also made a lot of button earrings. Went
through my craft boxes of buttons and pulled out
the matching buttons that were different or
unique...not just the colored ones. I hope to
sell them at the bazaar to and because they cost
me little to make I don't have to charge very
much to make a profit.
Right now I'm working on a 150 card order of my
Winnie-the-Pooh cards. I've got 85 of them colored.
They are for a Child Abuse Prevention non-profit
group for the Children's Store which is their
major fundraiser. They go together with other
non-profit corps to make money. I'm hoping that
they will sell out and order more. I know they sold
them for $3.50 each last year (which is more than
what I charge) and sold the 150 cards that they
had ordered. My brother is on the board and says
that because they will have fewer products in the
sale and only those which made money last year,
they might need more, which would be a Godsend.
As it is, $85 of the money is going to go towards
postage for Our Journey, unless I get more donations
towards that expense, adn the rest will have to go
to RX and to replace my cardstock.
Thankfully my parents help with some of my craft
supplies in exchange for the cards that I make
for them. They never have to buy any anymore
and I've gotten orders through my mom as well.
