my local shop says that the tail ends of the upper and lower dorsal fins will 
have a point if it's a male or the ends will be rounded if it's a female... 
i've have an albino tiger oscar that appears to be male... he's about 
1.5x3.7inches... in a 15 gal. tank... seems to be doing alright... i get him 
a $1 bag of feeder fish every week or two... they are kind small at the 
moment but there's about 10 in the bag... he loves them! but i only give him 
one or two a day instead of pellets...
