Hi Wendy,
RH> Well, I'm glad it was over. Looks like we'll be planning another one
RH> in a few years with the best man and maid of honor for this one being
RH> the principles and the bride and groom for this one being best man and
WB> For sure! And I can hear your already-punctured budget hissing
WB> as the rest of it escapes into the neverland of getting two daughters
WB> married! Vivid imagination here!
Well, we have a bit of breathing time. Deborah started her last year
of high school yesterday and I told her that I'd like her to at least
have an AA before getting married. Mike would probably get his BA (or
BS) the year she is supposed to get an AA. hey both are willing to wait
for a while.
RH> the lighting in the pictures makes Rachel's dress look golden. We
RH> decided against using all the lace the pattern suggested and it looked
RH> gorgeous without the lace. (Now I've some lace for some outfits.)
WB> Oh WOW! I think the golden wedding pictures are just lovely. We have
WB> so few pictures of our wedding-chapel ceremony, but one of the few is
WB> a golden one, with candles all around us on stands of various heights,
This wasn't done intentionally; just the way the lighting was. But it
makes for some pretty pictures!
RH> couple of shirts for melast night. Also did an alterations job for
RH> someone and waiting for a call on a big job.
WB> You take care of yourself too, though!
Yes, I've been sort of resting. I know if I push myself, the asthma
will flare up. I'm also trying to stay away from places like Phoenix;
went there the week after the wedding and had bronchial trouble for a
few weeks after.
RH> training. BTW, the best man lives in Edmond, OK; Deborah wants to go
RH> out there over Christmas.
WB> Sounds like a plan to me! I'm sure the best man is excited about it
WB> too! Hope things work out for them, and for Rachel and David, too.
WB> I'm sure she's missed him.
We are planning to go to see David graduate his basic. He called Rachel
yesterday and told her that he will know his first assignment (after
tech school) next week. Mike and his mom are planning to go to the
graduation also; Deborah is excited. (G) Guess I'll take some cross
stitch to do on the long road trip there & back.
Catch you later,
Ruth
