There are many different ways you can quilt your quilts... Some people like
quilting frames while other use larger hoops and yet others will quilt
freehand with out either!
I have a quilting frame that I made a couple of years ago... I like it for
some things while I also use hoops, in different sizes for
smaller projects... like a wall hanging.
If I could suggest to you to try different methods until you find the one
that you are the most comfortable with.
Also if you are machine quilting you don't need to have either! I prefer to
machine quilt for the speed and stitching that I get with my machine... my
hand stitching is not that good.
Keep us posted on how you are making out... there are any number of avid
quilters here! And I can assure you that all of us will gladly give you a
hand whenever we can...
Julia
