ac> What's BONK? I've heard of it, and may have even used it once, but

From the Bonk Docs. Bonk V1.74

       |### I n t r o d u c t i o n |
       +===============================================================+

Bonk is subset of Oman (an integral part of the Opus CBCS
system) and is a utility that a BinkleyTerm operator might use
to maintain the outbound mail area or to make adjustments to
       the active nodelist files.

In addition, it can also view the system log file in an easy to
read, compressed format and can make dynamic changes to the
       active, compiled nodelist data file.

Bonk needs to know several things about your netmail system and
computer setup. To know about these things, Bonk takes
its operational information from a combination of the
its own configuration file (eg, Bonk.Cfg), command line
switches, and/or the DOS environment variable, "BONK=".

Beside its several video modes, Bonk can also be run remotely
via FOSSIL controlled modem access. When operated remotely, it
can be optionally set to request a password for added security
and has carrier detect logic that will immediately terminate
the program when the carrier is lost.

Hope this helps. Keep us posted.

We are a fine board trying to make it better.
