  I'm in Canada where everything is government run.  So even though I paid
into the employment insurance fund, I am not actually able to collect on
that.  Same with Workmans Comp, I had to pay into it all these years, but
if I had hurt myself at work I wouldn't have been able to collect due to
the fact I owned more then 40% of the shares.

  I'm scanning the entire echolist right now, and from what I can tell the
only dead echo's are the BBS ones.  Everything else seems pretty active,
not as active as it was in the early 90's, but so what?

  To be honest, I don't know.  I'm 34 years old, so I'd better figure it
out soon. :)  I've been in the IT sector since 1992, so that's all I really
know.
But I'm not really interested in staying in that business. 

  The other problem is this:  When I was 16 I dropped out of highschool
because you didn't actually NEED it to enter college.  So I have 6 years of
school and tons of experience, but without the highschool I only seem to be
able to get more IT jobs. 

  Oh well, I'll keep looking in IT, and in the meantime drive a cab to keep
the family fed.
