Good suggestion!  on my wooden drawers I definitly have them lined and many 
of them with newspaper... 
 The drawers in this case are all plastic on a roll out cart that I have for 
my RS'ing supplies... They wipe clean with ease... that is if you consider 
just how messy black ink can be ...
