My sister temp-ed for years.  And apparently she liked it.  She had several
contract-to-hire jobs furnished by the temp/employment agency, but none of
them lasted more than a couple of years (for various reasons).  Now that 
she's in her early 50's, the temp jobs have dried up and she's unemployed.
