Keep on truckin' with the non-smoking. It gets better. I haven't had a
smoke since Midnight of Halloween 1984. I didn't pick the date but those who
know say it fits. I agree that smoking is just as bad as boozing when it
comes to quitting. It is also just as bod for the bod so, I guess it leaves
us no choice. Maybe reminding yourself of what you'll miss if you're not
around to watch the grandkids grow will help - it helped me. My oldest
granddaughter used to say "Gramma if you love people you won't smoke so that
they won't be sad when you die." Nice kid. She was about 3 then and will be
18 on the 24th of Nov. Still doesn't like smokers. She's the oldest of 9
grandkids. They go all the way down to Hayley P. who is two and a bit.
They're the best rewards of sobriety. Don't smoke Tom, we need your wit
and wisdom here.
