This problem appeared when I upgraded from Outlook '97 to Outlook 2003. It
went away when I removed the smtp protocol issues of a slow email server
(pointing Outlook to a Postfix server). Norton was in use with Outlook 97
and I did not see the problem.
There's no way I'll be taking the life of my PC into my hands and be
playing in the registry to try to "fix" a Norton problem that may
not even be a Norton problem. :-)
