Hi everybody,
yesterday (06/FEB/95) I monitored an unusual RTTY mode, in fact
the first time I heard it.
Frequency: 14740 kHz TIME: 15:11 UTC
details :
-------
Baudrate : 300.50 Baud
burst-like transmission, burst length about 3-5 seconds, 10 bit
per character, 70 bit per cycle (at least that's what it looked
like in autocorrelation mode). Between the bursts, the carrier
remained on the air.
I checked every available mode but got only garbage on the screen
(I'm positive the system is not based on ITA-5).
The station was heard later (15:40 UTC) on 10366 kHz.
If anyone knows what mode I heard, or has heard a similar trans-
mission on other frequencies, please let me know !
best regards
de -Leif-
