subject: Pnp Modem

I just ordered a Hayes Accura K56Flex modem, upgradable to the V.90 standard
when it becomes available. The modem is PnP and therefore not supported in
OS/2 by Hayes. Does anyone have one of these or any PnP modem for that
matter running under OS/2, and if so, were there any special things you had
to do to make it work? My modem hasn't shown up yet, I just started thinking
about it after I ordered it... I know that for my PnP soundcard to work, I
had to tell OS/2 version 4 to autodetect new hardware at the Alt-F1 screen
before it would see it, but now it works great. It should just require me to
take my old nonPnP 28.8 out, put the new 56k in, and tell the Internet Dialer
where it is at, right?
Thanks,
David Dousette
