Yes, just south of Vancouver, on a delta, home of Vancouver
International Airport.

What's "Cal. Alta."?

California Alberta?

Sounds scary! Like a surgeon got a little more enthusiastic than he was
supposed to?

No, I can't -- just know mine's a North Indian Curry, because my
homemaker is from the north and taught me her family recipe! *G*

JB> from me. I almost booked a subsidized cleaner (I'd have to find my

Juts close to? What made you decide NOT to call Meals on Wheels?
I wouldn'tmind an occasional meal cooked for me, but the $$ is daunting!

So I go out to restaurants once or twice c. each months' end payday.

Me neither; bought a slow-cooker(crock pot) but it's defective, it
seems, which is too bad, I was looking forward to some simple meals that
didn't require my constant on-going attention in the kitchen! (ADHD is a
problem here!)

JB> No I-net. Could you summarize?

Sure, it's a society that provides training/job search services/support
for disabled adults.
The main programs are:
Computer Comfort -- where I volunteer, teaching basic computer
(internet, M$ Office) skills.

A-Tec -- Adaptive Technology: sometimes partnered with BCIT, provides
technological adaptations for those with specialized needs. (eg.
interfaces, input devices)

EASE -- forget what it stands for, but it's a full service
pre-employment program that helps one get confident & ready to go out
and hunt!

EPPD (Job Focus) -- one-on-one with an "employment specialist" to
identify and achieve education/employment goals. -- I'm currently in
this one, just took a very extensive vocational-psych testing (2 days)
which I hope will support my plans(or provide me clear evidence how &
why I might need to alter them somewhat.)

Hope this helps.

There ya go! Thimk positive! *G*
Pain is a bad one -- not much help available for it, I guess the
assumption is that one is shirking just to try for heavy-duty
pharmaceutical narcotics! :(

This is a clear hint as to the "long story" about your missing floor?

JB> GP> So, write back, and tell about YOU! :)

Go for it!
