   I believe VS 2003 is required for .NET 1.1.  The intent is that .NET 1.1
releases can run unchanged under .NET 2.0 but in practice you'll need to

   I'm not familiar the with web tutorials, but a book might be good for
this sort of thing - find one that explains things in terms of what you
know - such as ADO.NET in terms of OLEDB or ADO/ASP.NET.

   This appears to be because Google thinks  your search term is likely a
web site.   I have noticed a phenonenom of people typing web site names
into the search bar of google.  Then they click on the web site from
google's list.    So google is catering to those people.

  So you have to make a second level selection to get what you'd expect - a
list of web sites containing the search term.
