Well, I'm happy to say that I've never had anyone close get it like that.
Although I did have a friend who should have. He'd borrow my trailer every
once in a while when the clutch in his 71 LT1 Corvette would blow. Pieces of
disk sticking through the floor type of blow. He deserved a Corvette like
that, just like everyone else deserves to have piles.
