No, but I'm almost sure he said things in support of it.
I _can_ document that Bill Ruger introduced the concept to anti-gun
politicians of a magazine ban . . . a 15rd magazine ban.  Bill Ruger's
pistol had a 15rd mag, & Glock had a 17rd mag.
I have SAAMI's policy statement, from them, promoting a magazine ban as a
glorious solution to an assault-rifle ban.  SAAMI members include
Winchester, Remington, Browning, Mossberg, Ruger, etc.
When anti-gun politicians saw the balless wonders of the gun industry, they
decided to give us _both_ an AR ban _&_ a magazine ban.
That's the danger of compromise . . . it sets the trend.
