subject: Filter Cap values in R-4

30 Mar 98 19:12, Ivy Iverson said this about Filter Cap values in R-4 to Jeff
Edmonson.
 JE>> Ok - So, 18mm is roughly 6 inches.... and 32mm is around 1 foot.
 II>
 II> A bit over, but close.
I see you belong to the Ol' Pharts club too.
         6 inches = 152.4mm or 15.24cm...
         1 foot = 304.8mm or 30.48cm...
And if you want to change the reading to Meters, don't forget that there are
decimeters involved in the metric system as well, so you have to move the
decimal point over two places to get meters from centimeters.
So, one foot equals .3048 meters...
BTW, decimeters are hardly ever used in the real world. This is why those
people who are not familiar with the metric system have such a hard time
using it.
... I can't walk on water, but I stagger on alcohol....
