From: Tony Williams Fiction now, but there do seem to be a some enabling technologies being developed. Intel building DRM into it's processors, Microsoft doing the same in software, monitors which have to pass a security test before they're allowed to play a video. I suppose it could all be perectly benign but to me it looks more like it'll be a pain in the ass when, say, your computer decides it doesn't trust your printer any more because you installed an unofficial driver update. -- Tony Rich wrote: > I don't avoid it.
