        Over on the B5 echo it is rare and frowned upon.  I find most
 fidonet B5 and Trek fen to be very reasonable and easy to talk to.
        Nearly all of the B5 fans I know personally are fairly snotty to
 me for still indentifying as a Trekkie.
        Personally I count myself solidly in Both Camps as a fan of both
 Trek and B5. I see nothing inconsistent with this.
        Go ahead and call me a Trekkie.  I am one.  if you don't like
  it, then that's *your* problem.
