Dear Wendy,
I'm so sorry to hear about all of your phyical problems. I hope that
by the time this reaches you, the doctors will have traced them down and
stamped them OUT.
Thanks for asking about WAyne. In case you missed my other message about
it; he is doing much better. Of course, he is never going to be well, but
the chest pain that has been giving him fits for the last 6-7 years [since
his triple by-pass] has finally been discovered to be from an injury to his
floating rib. A little super BEnGay when it starts tromps on it. What's
more, the frequency of it even starting is down. We are so thankful. As
for me, nothing new except that i have been diagnosed as having Tourette's
Syndrome. Fortunately, that isn't painful, just embarassing.
I am getting back into calligraphy and illumination. The illumination
part is my favorite. I got into calligraphy the first time when i started
decopoge. I just couldn't see paying 2 or 3 dollars for a sheet of paper
with some saying on it. Now of course, i do it mostly for scrolls as awards
in the SCA. A the moment i am working on "Award of Arms" scrolls. This is
the most comman and usually the first award that anyone recieves, so they
need a lot of them. Since i play in 2 kingdoms, there is an almost
unlimited demand for them, even if i make several to one design.
God bless, Shalom, ll
