LOL! I was visiting my sister's apt in W-Van., and crunch time was coming for
her to fly out from Montreal where they had some business to wrap up.
Sept.11'01 showed up, and that sealed it. They weren't going to fly NO WAY!
I thought that little incident might warm some hardened hearts there, but
NO!!!! One store owner we were friendly with said, "We live in such a beautiful
place, and the people have to be so ugly? I don't get it." I enjoyed my visit,
even if the sister wasn't going to show up, and we did meet some great people,
but some of the behaviour was a mystery to this farm-boy. /-:

I was thinking, "Soup?" Yes, Klein does happen, and happen,
and...

GP> Yes, /italics/ is like this, but I use *bold* and _underline_
GP> for emphasis, too, and, of course, THIS FOR VOLUME!
OUCH! Turn it down, will ya? {-|
JB> GP> Do you want the recipe she taught me?
JB> I don't see why not. How about on MEMORIES where a few more might see
GP> Just posted there.
Cheers!
GP> I don't stand too well either, but luckily my kitchen is
GP> modified for wheelchair-accessibility, and I have a manual

GP> electric to go out)
You mentioned the technical term for your infliction, but would you mind
explaining it like I'm a four-year old? I gather it was a stroke that put you
in the chair.
JB> Get up or starve. <-;
GP> Doesn't work for me -- I went overboard on the non-starving
GP> thing early on in my disabled state, so I can 'starve' quite a
GP> long time without discernable effect! :D
I know that feeling. Under withdrawals, I was unable to hit the fridge for ten
days. Now that one medication requires me to take it with food, and the other
one makes me retain water... Sure I'm in shape! Round is a shape.
JB> my sciatic tends to flare when exercised or sat upon?
GP> You mentioned the sciatica, but not this detail of it. ..
GP> Okay, got it now. . .
The neuroma does tend to *get in the way,* but I still drive, so I don't
complain... Too much. <-;
JB> GP> Not I -- called a number of them, cosysopped a couple, but
JB> GP> never yetgad my own *sigh* (it's still on the Dreams list! *G*)

JB> I guess I saw you post when you were co-sysop then. That or in a dream

GP> Or nightmare, as the case might be, eh?
L! I ran a small board for my own interests. Interesting stuff to be sure!

One used to run across so many people in fido, it was hard to keep track of
most of them. Today, that seems *much* more manageable. I don't think that is a
good, or a bad thing, just a thing.
GP> Got my appointment in 2 weeks (would've been 1,but their
GP> suggested meeting date wasn't suitable to my schedule (was my
GP> homemaking day, and I _NEED_ my laundry done weekly or I run
GP> out!)
I've so many socks and shorts, I could likely go for months without doing the
laundry. Heck, I HAVE gone for months without doing laundry!
JB> GP> Sex is a great natural endorphin-producer!
JB> As I've just heard. Wish I knew that two years ago.
GP> When you were in a relationship?
No, when I could have *used* a relationship. P-: Two years ago, I was
coming off the narcotics
JB> The real delusion I realize now, is that I thought I would be able to
JB> use this stuff.
GP> You could just resell it now, couldn't you? (eg. eBay)
Yup... Real soon now. Any day now. You want it gone when? [-;
Next year, I hope to re-attach to an ISP. I'm watching my pennies right now,
though. I had to borrow some money to sock some $ into an RRSP this year, to
try to keep Paul Martins' hands off my refund check. I've just that one debt to
clear up, and I should be set.
JB> Tip of the hat to you.
GP> Just my style of chatting. . .
Give Greater Van. my best. Not that they'd know what to do with it... O-8
Do take care!
... Failure is not an option! It comes bundled with Windows.
