There's the rub. Does Norton delete it after Outlook has it in the inbox,
or does Norton block it from getting to Outlook. I think the latter, i.e.
Norton installs itself between Outlook and the port 110 of the POP3 server,
and filters the spam. (note for IMAP, what you say may and probably does
happen).
I really don't want anything messing around inside of my email client...
