As far as I know, there's not a name for it. It's unique to my bloodline and
there's some question, or at least there was at the time the study was done,
that it might not actually be true dwarfism at all. All I know about it is
that it's sex-linked and that it's odd in that those who express the gene are
normally proportioned, but very abnormally small.*******************
Curiously, somewhere along the line another form of dwarfism entered my
family, of a more common variation with the shortened arms & legs and stout
torsos. My grandma and uncle were dwarfs of that type. I also know next to
nothing of that.
