Maybe the person meant a FORM LETTER and just used the wrong term. Maybe he
has a poor vocabulary or simply committed a malapropism. As for Thomas
denying the letter, would you expect any different even if it were true?
I'm not saying that the letter is real or not, but you have to take into
consideration that Don Thomas' job is to promote Atari and not necessarily to
tell the truth. Any statement made by a company official or politician (or
any person, for that matter) will be made in his best interest. I'm
especially skeptical of "official announcements." Take everything with a
grain of salt (and two aspirin).
