OK, but keep in mind the message disappeared on the outbound.

One of the reasons I am so skeptical here is that since upgrading from
Office '97 to my current version of Office, I've noticed a notable drop in
the quality of the Office software, especially Outlook.  Too many little
quirks, mis-designs and subtlely odd behavior have been popping up since
the upgrade.

While Norton may be in the room with Outlook, I'm unconvinced that it was
Norton that lost the message.
