Through most of it because they are heading to Arizona or New Mexico.  But
that's a short drive -- in 2003 I drove to Ontario and back and burned up
well over 6000 miles (9700 km).

You're right about the rainy season but hurricanes can (and do) arrive all summer.

So far our weather has been glorious.  We'll see if it will stay that way.

We got beat by the Czechs as we should have but the Swedes really folded in
the bronze medal game.
