That is not a good analogy because towing a trailer of that size is clearly
not the intended use for that vehicle. Now if you alter your extreme
example to something like: if I put the recommended load in the trunk and
the brakes malfunction; then it is the fault of the car's brakes, not the
load in the trunk.
