Thanks Jeff..  The the 220uf value should be OK, and should
provide better filtering.  I imagine that when this rig
(probably a R-4A as well) was built, the 100uf might have
been the best choice for size design limits, but in the
past 10 (or so) years - I believe components of the same
ratings have probably gotten much more compact since then.

Since I figure they are ALL getting fairly dry, I thought I'd

OK You Ol' Phart!   Actually according to QRZ, you're
a couple years my junior, so I guess I'd better take it easy :)

According to my ruler, it's about 3/4" (MM x 0.04 = inches)

What do you think about the power ratings ?  Should I go up
to the higher ones if I increase the capacitance ?
Voltages in the PS curcuit is 150-180 VDC.
