Yes, those are the ones we see here at the cheap prices.

  It's the line powered
 MR> clock movements, large digit LED displays, and large backlit LCD's that

And the line-powered clocks with the synchronous motors are
virtually extinct, both in analog and digital output forms.

Remember the "falling leaf" digital clocks that were driven by
sync motors?
