You may be slightly in the right, but this seems like one to shrug off. He
let you into his shoot, you gave him the negatives and while you may be the
copyright holder, enforcing it would be unpleasant for both of you. At the
very best you might loose a valuable friend or resource.

If it REALLY bothers you to the point of obsession, write a diplomatic note
pointing out that one of your shots must have accidentally been mixed up
with his and would he remove it.
