Hi to all. I have been raising fish in aquariums for 30 years, and
have been bbsing for 11 years. I finally decided to put the two
togather. Right now I have a 50 gal tank with Angels, tetras, loches,
algea eaters, and live plants. I also have a 125 gallon tank with
African ciclids with a 50 gallon tank for a filter. I just left this
   as some backround.

In the 50 gallon tank with the plants, I have noticed that my black
angels get ick rather easily. The neons, and cardinals are the
largest that I have ever seen, and very healthy. The clown loaches
are about 5 inches long, and are as healthy as the tetras. All of the
fish have been in the tank for over a year. The ph stays around 7.2
(same as my tap water), and I do just enough water changes to keep
the nitrates around 25. So now the big question! Why are the black
angels prone to get ick after many of the water changes? Thanks for
   any comments.
                          MIKE...........
