We likely can't beat the beer prices, the price for blended scotch, rum and
vodka sounds comparable, and we may pay less for single malt scotch.  We
may also make more per capita than you do.

As I've already said, that's not a problem for beer and wine but spirits? 
A good still costs $$$$$$.
