Most of the thumbnails on the gateway page are in the 5k to 10K range.

The gif animations, Pancho the Parrot and the rotating Links of course are
larger. The tiny moving spectrum ones like the dot (8k), NEW and UPDATED,
are all less than 20k.

On the portfolio sites that have their own index pages,  Santa Rosa, Soft
Pictorial, Desert 2002, Biker Bars and Folks; all average well under 10k.
