He can work a "ground based safe style" but that does not mean he has to be
such a bore to watch. Think of the other technical wrestlers who have been
incredibly successful, since they had charisma and utilized in ring
psychology, etc. (Hitman, Benoit, Malenko, etc.)Storm is not showing any of
it. He does a submission hold, then a rest hold, then another submission,
then a rest, etc. ZZZZZZZZZZ

Again, this is entertainment, not a martial arts expo. The only way to put
over a "safe" style, is to accentuate the technical skill and the pain the
hold can cause. Alot of wrestling submission holds have a basis in the
martial arts. However, they are modified so they are safer to perform.
I am far from a casual fan...I have been watching pro wrestling for 25 years
(I am 31 y.o.). Remember Bob Backlund? What a complete bore, move wise in
the ring, but boy, did he make up for it with presence and charisma.
