Uh, from what little I've heard, you can pick up the Radio Shack 2m handheld 
for $100 at hamfests. :)  Otherwise, I've been told to look elsewhere.
I'm trying to remember WHERE, but I got a catalog sometime ago selling a 
Alinco 2m handheld with some really nice goodies (which the Radio Shack one 
doesn't have that I remember) for $189.99...
Would anyone else be able to help?
