Hello All!
Not having any accounting experience I am not sure how the transfers fit into
the Budget. Could anyone explain how I can do the following things.
- When I pay a Credit Card Bill I make a transfer between my Checking Accout
and the Credit card Account. This appears to show up in the budget. My
problem is, when I spent the money on my credit card I put the item it's
budget catigory (ie Dinner, Gas, etc). If the payment is also included in
the budget would this not cause the same expense to be there twice therefore
making it appear that I have spent twice as much as I have.
- How would I show some Transfers but not all, or does it make any
difference. Tranfers such as Checking to Cash on Hand I don't want to appear
as part of my budget actuals. Transfers such as Checking to my Car Loan I do.
Can I select certain transfer from Checking and not others or an I looking at
this whole thing from the wrong angle
