Greetings Christer
CJ>I just popped an audioCD in my cdrom player and fired up the CD
CJ>player in the Multimedia folder, and guess what? When I clicked
CJ>Options, there were four selections: Auto play, Repeat, Shuffle
CJ>Tracks and Digital Transfer, BUT the option Digital Tranfer were
CJ>*greyed out*, meaning that DT isn't possible, at least not
CJ>under Warp3 with the AIC7870.add SCSI driver.

My system is somewhat different from yours however I did discover
something which may be of help. I'm using Warp 3 (Fixpak 26), Promise
DC440 IDE/IO/SCSI-2 adaptor (uses Adaptec AHA-1540 driver for Warp) and
a Toshiba 12x SCSI-2 CD-ROM drive.
The SCSI adaptor has it's own BIOS and in the BIOS one can set various
attributes. I found that if I have the "parity check" for the adaptor
enabled and "synchronous transfer" for the CD-ROM itself _disabled_ I
can make use of "Digital Transfer" of audio tracks from a music CD to
my AWE32 sound card. If "synchronous transfer" for the CD-ROM is
enabled in the SCSI adaptor's BIOS then DT is greyed out in Warp's
CD-Player.
Hope this helps.
Yours,
Greg
