I said it was open source, but I don't know about any active support
other then perhaps this list. :)
Dave released it 8 years ago.  I was saying that it would probally be
possible for someone to add the LFN support to it since it is open
source, assuming the bug is due to using LongFileNames.

The EleBBS release notes contain developer information on Long
FileName support info, and there is a LFNEXAM.ZIP included which
has example Pascal source code.

Have you tried to see if its actually a permission issue,
or perhaps the file is marked read only?
I.E. If you open FDB100.HDR using edit or notepad, does
it open, and if so is it saying it's read only?

Does area #100 contain LFN files (or a long directory path)?

By the way, did you know that you can import DIZ into the
filebase directly from EleMgr? It can also be done from Elefile.
